Lotsen House Party - Joy M'Batha

Following our series 'Home' for our speaker Lotsen. We had our participating people throw a house party in the style of their choice, in order to celebrate. Three totally different parties in three different settings. See what went down at Arvida Byström, Ali Boulala and Joy M'Batha's Lotsen House Parties. Here are the pictures from Joy's urban farm girl party.

In order to celebrate the releases of our video series Home for Lotsen, we through a house party for Arvida Byström, Ali Boulala and Joy M'Batha in the style of their choice. See what went down and who was at Joy M'Batha's urban farm (skånsk bondgård). Traditional southern Swedish dishes and snacks and of course the farm girl herself.

    Joy M'Batha

After spending her youth moving around and even lacking a place to stay entirely, musician and painter Joy M’Batha’s definition of a home might not be the same as her peers. With deep roots in Skåne in the southern part of Sweden, Joy has now moved back to Malmö after living in Stockholm for three years. With what seems like an undrainable energy and a self-expression way beyond the stereotypical Swede (that rather tells you to not express yourself), Joy ably disguises an emotional delicacy in her upbeat music.

    Lotsen

Lotsen contains all the same features as its bigger siblings,
Stammen and Baggen, in a smaller format. But don’t let the size fool you. Lotsen is small but fierce! It easily fills smaller to mid-sized rooms and is perfect for small surfaces.
