Louis Bouvier for #30Thirty30
If you don't do it, nobody will do it for you.
To celebrate Plattan 2 Bluetooth’s 30+ hours of wireless playtime, we reached out to creators worldwide to help us create the ultimate 30 hour playlist. One hour a day for 30 days.
Louis Bouvier lives and works in Montreal, where he was born. Known for his large-format, photorealistic drawings, he now includes cast sculptures and found objects in his practice. In November 2015, he presented two solo exhibitions: one at the Maison des Artistes Francophones, in Winnipeg, the other at Galerie de l’UQAM. With the support from the Conseil des Arts du Québec, he presented a two-part research project, the first part at L’Écart, in Rouyn-Noranda (November 2016), and the second at Centre CLARK. In the fall of 2017, he participated in a research residency at the Banff Centre, sponsored by the CALQ. With a history of designing posters for Montréal's rock scene, his music influences are like his art work, they can't be defined by a specific genre. Louis Bouvier describes his playlist as feel-good music that would be the perfect complement for working in the studio or during your daily commute.
