The Slim Kings for #30Thirty30
Music is meant to be heard loud ... turn it up or don’t bother.
To celebrate Plattan 2 Bluetooth’s 30+ hours of wireless playtime, we reached out to creators worldwide to help us create the ultimate 30 hour playlist. One hour a day for 30 days.
THE SLIM KINGS
Just because you're a king doesn’t mean you have to be a glutton. That's the mantra of this power trio. Their sound is a harsh, rough and untamed experience embodying the essence of new old school rock n' soul. Whether kick-starting an afterwork at the local watering hole or setting the tone for the likes of ZZ Top, The Slim Kings are a pure breed of passion. The driving back bone of this band is Liberty DeVitto. Touring with the likes of Billy Joel for three decades makes you one of the ultimate road warriors. Complementing the hard percussion lines, you find funky hip hop bass grooves in coherence with Michael Sackler-Berner's gritty vocals that only a lifetime in NYC can fine tune. The result is a musical experience that is the sound of years of touring, playing and living. Their selection for #30Thirty30 is a similar mix and breed. Listen to this playlist while cruising in your chariot or relaxing in your castle.
